Abstract

A woman in her 40s presented to the dermatology clinic with a rash on her back and increasing difficulty changing her clothing for two years. She denied a preceding febrile illness. She had poorly controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus with a glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) of 12.5%.
